i've applied it to my wheels and now the dust comes off very easily. can simply wipe w/sponge w/o scrubbing. if obviously won't "prevent" the dust from accumulating but it sure makes it a lot easier to remove. give it a try.

also, it's useful in removing the accumulated dust. if found it very difficult to scrub.
