This is easy to get removed via software.

I agree that the 128 mph speed governor is sort of a pain, although I imagine few people actually drive that quickly in the US...

When you get it removed with the Jim C/Dinan/other chips, make sure you upgrade your tires, probably to "V"-rated ones.

Just some food for thought -- doing 140 mph can be perfectly reasonable under the right conditions. Doing 30 mph can be insanely dangerous under the wrong conditions (school parking lot, in your garage, etc.).
