: And I had those exact same problems - a lot of shaking in the steering wheel during braking from high speed. It turns out the new calipers (sic?) I had were installed incorrectly. A new job fixed this problem, although I noticed a a year and a half later the same symptoms slowly developing. My 328 sport doesn't have this problem (only 1200 miles) nor does it have the floatiness. Is this a immediate problem or one that develops over time?
: : As a recent owner of a E46 328 with sport package, I have suffered from the infamous steering wheel shake on braking since Day 1. My dealer yesterday investigated and has ordered new rotors. Although I'm not foolish enough to think this is the definitive fix, after all I've read on this board, I find it odd that my rotors could be "warped" when delivered from the factory. This condition has been in existence since I picked up the car, and did not develop after a few thousand kilometres (I'm in Canada) of driving, as in many cases.

: : Has anyone else had a similar experience--right out of the box, so to speak.
