There's one other possibility: did your dealer have to "locate" the car, and trade another dealer for it? In that case, they might have driven it from the original dealer to yours, although I think they should have told you first... Trucking it can cost several hundred bucks, depending on the distance, so they might have just driven it instead to save some money on a car they knew they'd already sold.

Just a thought...
