Can't vouch for the M3 seats, but the E46 sport seats are more supportive than my old E36. The side bolsters are larger and the power seating control allows you to lift the front part of the seat cushion independently of the rest. The cushion also pulls out (like all the sport seats) All in all, the seats have more than enough support to meet the demands of this car.

: Has anyone installed a set of 4- or 5-point seatbelts in their E46 yet? I attend a couple of BMW driving schools
: per year, but I haven't yet seen a set of competition belts installed in an E46. Do they bolt into the trunk like the current E36?

: Also, how well do the sport-package seats hold you in when cornering? I can't imagine them being anywhere near as supportive as the current E36 M3 seats, but I haven't put any serious miles in the E46 sport seats yet (hopefully this weekend).

: I still haven't ordered my car yet, but any info would be appreciated! See you at the track!

: TIA,
