I ordered a 323i a week or so ago with a production date of 5/19 (hopefully they can move that up a little bit), and I have been thinking of making some changes to the order. I have ordered the car with the 16" Premium package, Xenons, rear fold seat, computer, moonroof, fog lights, and the wood package. It will be Fern Green with Sand leatherette.

I am considering adding the on board navigation system. All of the invoice's I see have a dealer price of $1675 and a sticker of $1800. When I called the dealer he said that on the 323i it stickers for $1950, and will charge me $1750 for it. He mentions that on the 323i there needs additional items to be installed, but I have not found that information anywhere (including on BMW's website which still says it is a $1800 option). I know you need the computer and one of the premium packages, but does anybody what else would cause the navigation system to be higher on the 323i than the 328i?

Thank you.
