This car has been out for months with many/most experiencing these problems (braking/steering). First, I can't believe that there are still dealers who haven't heard of these problems unless they don't sell many E46's. Second, how long are we supposed to wait for the fix? Another month? Another six months? With the equipment I would presume that the BMW engineers have at their disposal this shouldn't take so long - or am I missing something? They really need to do something decisive about this before this winds up on 60 Minutes. This is not a trivial issue at all.

: Have just taken delivery of 328 sedan, Sport Premium 5 speed and with only 225 miles, my car has a pronounced vibration at 60 mph when braks are applied. Dealer acts as though he's never heard of such; BMW Customer Relations (800 831 1117) says they've never heard any such complaints. What's going on here? I regret buying this car...
