: JohnM,

: It does ultimately depend on what your preferences are. If you are the type of person that likes to take offrams at twice the speed posted on that orange sign, that likes to take right turns at 30+mph without braking, et cetera, then you will undoubtedly prefer the sport package.

: On the other hand, if you are the person, if you are the person who spends most of his time commuting and enjoying the luxury of your vehicle, you will prefer the premium package. If this is the case, you might actually prefer another car altogether. The 3-series is more geared to driving enjoyment than any other car in its class, and the sports package is merely this philosophy taken to more of an extreme.

: : I'm concerned that the stiffer suspension on 328's with sport pack will result in uncomfortable and rough rides. Does anyone with sports pack regret not going with premium pack for a smoother ride? Please let me know so that I can choose between the sports and prem pack soon!!!

I totally agree. I love the handling of my E46 S+P. I throw it into curves, and it just tracks as neutral as you can imagine. I LOVE it. I have driven with 5 people as well, and it handles just as well.Buy the Sport !!!!!!
