I thought the side mount CD Changer installed in a space behind the side of the trunk interior without affecting the available space in the trunk. So if no CD changer (or NAV) was installed there would simply be an empty space behind the side wall of the trunk.

Does the installation of the changer actually involve moving the side of the interior trunk wall?

: : I am picking up my 323i in a couple of weeks (16" Prem, silver, black leather, moonroof, fogs, CD) and had a question about golf clubs in the trunk. Since most of you probably play golf (as I do) I figured you would know. Does a regular bag fit easily in the trunk? How about 2, 3, or 4 bags. If anyone could help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

: Hi Mike,
: Being able to load golf bags was the reason I did not order the CD changer. If you do, you lose a lot of space in the trunk and it is impossible to load them without folding down the seats.
: Without the CD changer, I can easily fit two sets of clubs and two pull carts without having to fold down the seats.
