: I have noticed a problem with the paint work on my 328ci Titanium Silver. If you look closely in good light but not direct sunlight, you can see that the car is covered in little black and rusty red spots. They do not come off when cleaning and appear to be under the lacquer. The car is only 3 weeks old and has been reported to my dealership who agree there is a problem and must request BMW to come and inspect the car. Any body else notice a similar problem with their car? It is not highly noticeable until you look closely.

I would suggest using a clay bar such as clay magic (found @pep boys, or or the zaino clay bar( The clay is good at removing micro objects that become lodged in the paint, but won't be as harsh on your clean coat as a cleaner.
I hope this helps
