I plan on upgrading my 00 323ci and need help. I want to upgrade the factory amp (no HK, factory in-dash CD, factory CD changer in trunk, 10 speakers) and was wondering if anyone knew where to get a harness connector (if there is such a thing) so I can hook up an aftermarket amp without cutting into the factory harness. If not, do you know where I can get a wiring diagram that shows what wires do what? I plan on installing a RockFos bandpass box with two 10" woofers in the trunk and a Punch 150 amp to drive it. I also want to upgrade the factory amp located in the left trunk area.
Do you know if it's a 4 channel amp?
Does the amp have crossovers built in or are there crossovers in the door? Also, did you replace the factory speakers in the door and if so, does it void the warranty? (since it has side airbags, I'm a little reluctant to pull the door panels off.
Do you know how to punch out the ski bypass and is there a different rear seat backing to accomodate the hole?
I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I want to do the job right (doing as little damage to the car as possible!). I've searched the internet and the archives here with little luck (not specific enough.)I don't have access to a reasonably priced professional installer while I'm living in England and am doing it myself.

Thanks for any help!
