Just got back from the auto show in Frankfurt. It was awesome!! The show is huge, probably at least a mile from one end to the other. You would park and take a shuttle bus the main hall. It is made up of a bunch of different buildings. Was there about 8hrs, and didn't come close to seeing it all. Spent the most time in the BMW hall, but also saw Honda, Toyota, Jag, Ford, Aston Martin, Ferarri, Mazerati, and Opel areas. Got some cool pics I will hopefully post on the internet. Saw a bunch of cool Alpina BMW's, along with a modified 323Ci with the interior I'm dying to get (Two tone black and grey). Saw the Z8 and X5 and M3. The coolest BMW was the Z9 concept car with the gull wing doors. Unbelievable. Also saw new MR2, Celica, Cadillac EVOQ concept (cool), the new T-bird from Ford.( a friend w/98 Corvette was drooling over that one). The show featured a ton of cool roadsters from MG, Opel, and Toyota. There are so many cool cars you can't get in the states. Saw E46 politzi( police) package. Will try to post some pics when I check them out. On the way up and back was driving along with a friend who has a modified Honda Civic who had been talking crap about how fast his car was. It 's pretty quick, but he just couldn't hang even though I was loaded with 3 adults and a kid (he only had himself and his kid). He can do 140 but it takes him an hour to get there, while I bumped off the limiter at 136 in no time. Even in the lower ranges was over taking him. But he was cool about it. Was an awesome day will have pic's soon.
