There was a Car and Driver article a few months back comparing the Ford SVT Contour, Audi a4, VW Jetta, and 323i (Most of you probably read it, I'm sure). Well, they said that VW's accelerator reacted rather quickly, possibly to give the illusion of speed. Maybe this is the same type of thing? For me, at least, it didn't feel that way, though I noticed that the Acura 3.2tl does this a lot too when I test drove it- one of the (lesser) reasons I decided to go with the 323i.

: anyone noticed a heavy throttle / accelerator peddle on the e46 323i auto? Seems to be jerky at low speeds. Wondered if anyone has had the same experience and found a modification of any kind?
