The E46 is catered more towards american middle age customers who don't like agressive cars. THE E46 is too soft, especially the steering and feels much lighter for some reason. Thought the overall quality is much better than before

: Howdy:

: I drive an E36 M3, but am anxiously awaiting the E46 model. I'm wondering how those of you out who drove an E36 (prior to getting your E46) like the new model in comparison?

: What are your thoughts on the differences? What do you like better or worse on one or the other?
: Anybody out there have the new E46 coupe yet? How you feel about that model would be especially interesting since the new M3 is based on it.

: Thanks guys.

: Regards,

: Noel.
