I changed my lenses because I found that the clears coordinated better with my steel blue/grey 328i than did the ambers. The clears give a more chrome-coloured look which goes well with the "cool" blue/black/chrome exterior colour scheme. The "warm" ambers just seemed to contrast too much.

I think the clears go well with the blue, silver and black exteriors but I'm not sure that they would look as nice on a white, red or green vehicle. I was also looking to make my car stand out a bit from the crowd. The comments I'm getting from people indicate that the clears definitely look better.


: Can someone please explain to me why anyone would pay $250+ to put clear lenses on their car. Everyone I talk to, it's like the first thing on their list of aftermarket stuff to do on the car? I know it slighly changes the appearence, but MAN, that's a lot of cash just for different colored light lenses...What's the Deal?
