You should be able to get that repaired without any problem. In fact your insurance company will probably pay for an auto glass company to repair it without any payment from you or affecting your no claim discount.

My brother had a stone chip about 3/8" across that he got repaired. There were little pices of glass chips within the area where the stone struck but after the repair, there is just a pin hole size mark left.

: I just got a small stone chip in the windshield of my 323ci. I cannot feel the crack from the inside so I assume it is still watertight. Can anyone tell me if it's likely this chip will lead to a 'spiderweb' crack?
: I'm concerned the normal road bumps may cause this chip to become a very expensive problem to fix. Is there anything I can do to repair/minimize the damage without replacing the windshield?
: Thanks
