: Installed the BMW alarm myself and just had it activated at the dealer. Does anyone know a way to test it? I tried locking the car with the button on the key while still in the car and then flailing around wildly to try to activate the motion sensor inside the car, but it didn't trip the alarm.
: Maybe it was because I wasn't wearing the standard issue, car thief "black knit hat". I think the sensor detects that. :)
