I've had smoke pouring out of the brakes on my
gti/vr6 at the track, many, many times actually.
It is perfectly fine. Being that the 328 has a
better setup, from what I've seen and felt, I'd
say this is child's play for the brakes :) Don't
worry about it!

As for the other person, what did they do when you
jumped out of your car and ran in a blind rage
towards them?

You did do that, right? :)

: Today as i was driving on the freeway, i was driving around 70mph, a car cuts me off and brakes immediately and i think he was trying to cause a fraud accident, thus i had to literally slam on my brakes as hard as i can to prevent rear-ending this fool, so i came to a screeching halt and the ABS came into action. thankfully i didn't come close to touching this car in front of me. But what i'm now concerned about is if there are any possible problems which may have evolved from this rigorous braking, such as tires, brakes, suspension, tires no longer being perfectly round, etc...??? thanks very much

: P.S. the brakes are outstanding!!!
