Never liked ramps. Had the same nightmares one of the other posters has about overshooting. Also, can't use them to remove wheels.

You're better off picking up a rolling floor jack and a pair of jack stands. More expensive, but more useful.

: Checked the archives, but could not find specific info on what kind of ramps can be used on E46 (oil changes, etc) Can a normal angle ramp (such as the kind that can be purchased at Wal-Mart, etc) be used or do you need low angle ramps or ramp extenders?
