: Last evening just after dusk, I was heading home on a relatively heavily-traveled eight lane highway and had the forced opportunity to test BMW's reputation for hadling prowess. Motoring at approximately 70 mph, I encountered a jettisoned two-by-eight lying completely across my (far right) lane. Luckily I had the shoulder at my disposal, and I am very grateful that there wasn't a stranded vehicle or persons utilizing the shoulder. Since my reaction time approaches that of a crack addict on a good day, I can say with certainty that had I been driving a Plymouth Acclaim, all that would remain of me today would be a little snippet on page 43 of this morning's local paper. Bottom line: the car handled marvelously, and the flickering yellow icon on my instrument panel reminded me of all the wonderful technology on my side. Hopefully nobody else will have to test their car under similar situations, but if need be, I am confident your respect for BMW will increase as appreciably as mine has. Now, any recommendations for a good leather cleaner?

: Cheers

Lexol is excellent...
