It might be expensive when you just look at the cost, but keep in mind that xenons don't burn out as quick as standard halogens. They're supposed to last at least 2 or 3 times longer, since there is no filament that can burn out. Also, the extra visibility is great- drive a car with xenons and one with regular halogens right after eachother at night and you'll see the difference. Personally, I think they're worth the extra initial expense.
