I know that turning off the traction control is a good first step. Beyond that, what RPM do you bring it up do before dropping the clutch (without risking a trip back to the dealer). Also, do you lift off the clutch pedal as quickly as possible - or ease off as you drop your throttle foot to the floor.

Occasionally (ok, more than occasionally) I like to try for an "optimal launch" - any advice?
