i agree with drove the a4 2.8 + 323ci
back to back in long island, ny.... its close but the 323ci i think is the better overall choice considering all factors.....

: I too was torn between the two. I've long been an Audi fan, but the 323Ci was a hands-down no brainer when it came down to test driving the two cars back to back. The 323 just plain handled better. Stronger stance, better cornering, and a great feel.

: I too live in Snowland. I'll miss the Quattro in the winter for stop and go driving, but other than that, All Wheel Drive doesn't make that much difference. Sure, it will get you out of a stuck situation, and it takeoffs are more controled on snow, but when you are driving it won't matter a bit that you have 4 wheel drive if you start to slip at, say, 60 miles an hour. That is where Traction Control comes in, and BMW's Traction Control system is one of the best available.

: But, they are both amazing cars. I just wish I had the money to buy both. (Another year of this Bull Market and I just might!) Frankly, I would LOVE to own that RS4, simply for that fact that it is a station wagon that can kick the ass of almost any sports coupe out there (M3 included).

: Plus, I could get groceries in no time flat!

: : I know this is a Bimmer site, but I can't decide between the two.

: : I drive in 5 months of snow, so I don't know if the new traction control in the 323 actually work.

: : Objective comments only. Thanks
