I have, on several occasions, realized similar streaking on and below the door sills after extended raining. I noticed that the drain holes in the bottom of the doors are packed with a yellowish grease/lubricant, and concluded that this was the culprit. I ultimately wound up using P21S, which worked quite well, and removed only a slightly discernable amount of the wax. I suppose with more research I could have found a solution that would have been effective without the "stripping" results, but 10 or 15 minutes of re-"Blitz"ing did the job.
