That is way better than the situation I am in. My vehicle landed at the port on the 5th. of September and I have not yet got the delivery of the car.
After several bouts of the dealer ducking my questions, someone from BMW NA finally called this Monday to let me know that the controller that controls the central locking system, the windshield wipers and the windows was malfinctioning so they have to get the thing replaced.

Talking of reliability, I find it rather surprising that something as major as this did not get caught during the QA at the plant in Germany. To make matters even worse, they didnt even have the controller in stock.

Dealer experience has been a nightmare and now the car has a critical component malfunctioning. Despite this, I am still trying to keep my spirits up...
