This may or may not help but at the Ultimate Driving Experience you get to drive both 323 and 328 automatics wide open but on a short course so you may not go above 50-60mph. I didn't notice but about .5 seconds difference in lap times )and there weren't a great deal of laps) but IMHO there wasn't a great deal of acceleration differences. I did think that the 17" wheels on the 328 gave better stability.
