: Ooooh. Pulled out onto Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor tonight for a midnight drive. What a car! What a road! Sheer bliss!

: If anyone out there is in close proximity to A2, and looking for a beautiful, windy road to just drive and drive and drive, this is it. The first thing you notice when starting down the path is the dense foilage overhanging the road. Next, you note the smooth, brand new stretch of beautiful unadorned blackness just waiting to be tackled. Not even a bump in site, let alone a pothole. Just fresh new road. Then, the sign:

: Scenic Drive
: Winding Road
: Drive Carefully

: Wonderful! Absolute heaven. I couldn't stop grinning as I took blind curve after blind curve, tunnel upon tunnel of overgrowth obscuring the view around each bend.

: If you head on over, just watch out for the stop sign at the end, which lies around a very tight turn and appears quite unanounced. And, if you try a midnight drive like I did, watch out for the Slow Moving Objects, for they abound (darn raccoon).

: BTW, the posted speed limit is 35 MPH. Perfect for driving a little bit faster than that and listening to the engine sing along in third gear.

: (I was inspired to go driving tonight when I saw the 3-Series Coupe comercial with the musical notes and the delightful engine purr. Man, what a car!)
