For max acceleration, you want the engine to work in it's maximum power output range. A good estimate for this is to do shifts such that the rpms before and after the shift are symmetrically around the maximum horsepower rpm.
: Hello everybody,
: my 99' 328i is the first manual car I have, and I was wondering if you can tell me how to get the best 0-60 time. Am I suppose to floor it and watch the rpm to go dangerously into 6K? all inputs are appreciated.
: sincerely,
