: i have read quite a few post about horrible/stupid problems on the e46. i just want to do a survey. please post whether you had trouble or not. maybe we can all get a better idea about the quality/ reliability of this car. thanx.

I picked up my car on 9/8 and have been loving it ever since. No CD problems, slight Ft. Driver's window squeak - but I will see how bad it gets, no Steering Vibration, No Moonroof problems, etc.

Either I lucked out (don't want to jinx myself) or these cars truly are the Ultimate Driving Machines.

Other than trying to keep the Premium Pkg wheels clean and a rock chip in my windshield already, the car is awesome.

My advice, relax and enjoy the ride!!

Anthony
