Alpina's very highly rated. On my old 87 325i, the entire package is Alpina and that's the only way it comes. Everything is matched and tuned as a set. The shocks are from Bilstein, but tuned specifically for Alpina. The problem with tuning suspension is that you see a lot of cars out there with mismatch sets. The Honda enthusiasts are notorious for setting their car bunny-hopping all over the road.
