: I am considering the 323 CI and the salesman let me keep the bimmer for the weekend. I had the standard seat and found that it is a couple of inches too "long". It is not as comfortable as the seat in my 92' integra. I am 5'7" and may be my thigh bone is too short :-( I will try the sport seat tomorrow and hopefully it is "shorter".

I think you'll find the sport seats are even longer. Have you tried tilting the seat bottom down in front? Tilting down in front can make it feel shorter. Tilting up in front can make it feel longer.

If you really want shorter seat bottoms, have a look at a Honda Accord EX. We've been looking at lots of cars for my wife, and that was one of our only complaints with the Accord.
