: Missisaugua BMW had it's Ultimate drive thingy on Saturday and I finally got to drive the 328 coupe,, nice car (power delivery a little too refined for me) with no body roll anywhere...but then I'll chalk that up to brand new bushings and shocks.
: Anyway last time I tested the 328 sedan,my fiancee pointed out a loud 'klunk' sound when shifting (I didn't notice it because I was caught up in the moment you understand)
: This time I took a buddy and he noticed the same thing with the coupe....a pronounced 'kloonk' shift sound..especially when you're standing outside of the car...Is this an E46 characteristic??
: BTW...if anyone's interested, they banned the M cars (apparently the last time they were available some people really over did it....they are intoxicating)and the 540A torque is awesome...certainly more raw than the new I6's with NO wheelspin

it's easy to hear from outside, but usually pretty hard inside the car.
