If you're gonna toss out bait like that, at least tell us what model you have, and what problems you've experienced.
When you locate the manufacturer that produces all of its cars 100% defect-free, please let us know. Until then, don't let a small fraction of the total picture deter you.

: It looks like with all the problems occuring in the new E46 BMW is loosing its edge. BMW is focusing more on bumping up its sales and the quality is going down the drain.

: With the e46 coupes running around $40K I would just go for a Benz CLK coupe and be assured of the quality one expects after paying $40k.
