Hope you don't mind a visitor from the M3 board (I used to frequent this E46 board before I decided on an M3. It was during the Jacamo era!!)

This will be my first trip to NYC, and I need suggestions on where to stay. I understand the hotel situation sucks (expensive, booked). Any suggestions on a decent, reasonably-priced, clean hotel? It's just me and my girlfriend on the trip, which will be in November for about 4 days. Advice on where to eat, places to go, what to do, etc are also welcome. You may also email me privately if you prefer.
