The color does have a hint of orange in it, but that is what makes it "bright", you don't notice until you put it next to another "red" car. Like any color it looks dull when it's dirty, but after it's been waxed it holds it's shine much longer, and it looks simply breathtaking when it's clean. I think it looks better than the silver as the two cars pick up dust and dirt, but doesn't show the dirt as much as black. pocket the $475 for metallic paint and enjoy the red. You won't be disappointed.
