If you look at the lighting pattern, they're EXTREMELY effective in picking up pedestrians, on the order of about twice the distance on that lobe compared to a regular bulb, and with more clarity and contrast. Particularly on the right hand side of the car. So unless Carmageddon's your game, the Xenons make a certain amount of sense.

: First you go so slow that the extra warning you get from being able to see further is not a real advantage. Second, rarely do the lights have the ability to project further than normal lights.
