? On Fog Lights (archive)

I have never owned a vehicle with fog lights and need a little input from someone with experience. I keep wishing for a really foggy day so I can see if they make a difference, but here in Massachusetts, we don't get many foggy days. Anyways, my questios is this, fog lights cut through fog but will they also work in a nighttime snowstorm. In other words, will the fog lights reflect off the snow or cut through it to make visability better. Just wondering, after all old man winter is right around the corner.
