: I live in Chattanooga and am about to make the plunge for a 328Ci. From where did you ultimately get your 323? In addition, what dealers were the easiest/hardest to work with?
: Thank you for your help.
BMW of Chattanooga (Or whatever there name is), was basically useless. STAY AWAY from Grayson (AKA Fee City) BMW in Knoxville. They agreed to my price, but wanted $1000 in fees on top. BMW of Nashville is USELESS, $90 off, but we'll give you free mats! At this time of the year, check out my dealer, Rick Hill, in Kingsport. I placed my order last November, and it was a January production vehicle. Being near the mountains, in winter, not many folks are looking for BMWs (Other than the upcoming X5 maybe). So, I was able to get a GREAT deal from them. That leaves Roadshow in Memphis. They agreed to my price +$200. I got them to throw in mats for that price, then looked at the specs, and found that they had left off on of the options. I called back, asked that my salesman amend the quote, and he told me that I would have to pay list for that option. I told him he had just lost a sale.. Too bad, and hung up. I also checked Century in Huntsville, the salesmanager (Female) was nice, and she ACTED like she was working me up a deal, but then she came in about $1000 over my price. My suggestion?? Get your Rizzo fax worked up, and fax it to ALL of them. You never know, someone MIGHT be in the mood to make you a deal. But, if you get a good quote from Grayson, ask for ALL the fees to be included in that quote. (Especially if you get Clarence Mendenhall).
If you need further help, just ask!
