Shit I got doored... any advice on touch-up? (archive)

Yes it had to happen... after 13k miles of enjoyment. Just the other day coming out of a restaurant, I noticed a deep 1 inch scratch below the driver-side door handle. Next to the driver side of my car was a "chromed out" 4x4 Ford truck closely parked. What an inconsiderate JERK!!!!! What makes me more irate is that the way the scratch is etched in my door... the JERK hit and pushed his big door (i.e. approx. 1 inch) against my door and my car was parked before this JERK.

Any advice on how the fix this deep scratch? Since this is my first major scratch... maybe I’m over reacting but what a JERK! Thanks.
