This is way off topic but I need your help since I am addicted to this board. You may reply by e-mail to save band width.

One of my parents suffered a stroke a few months ago. Now she is scheduled to leave the nursing home. Obviously, the E46 is not a good vehicle for transporting a person with limited mobility. So, I need advice from you guys who are in the same boat:

1. What kind of vehicle do you recommend? I am thinking of the Honda minivan.
2. How expensive will it be to do a conversion for wheelchair access? Do you have a recommendation for a place in the San Francisco area? Or is there a dealer who already sells wheelchair-ready vehicles?
3. How easy is it to get a disabled person license?

Thanks in advance. I would appreciate any comments.
