: : Just this morning I noticed a small leak puddle about 1" in diameter underneath my new Y2K manual 323i. The leak was approximately on the centerline of the car and even with the 'jack blocks' on the frame. The fluid was pretty much colorless and odorless.

: : I am obviously no mechanic and would appreciate any of your advice on what to do.

: : Thanks in advance for your help!

: Vital liquids that leak from a car usually are in and around the engine compartment. All of these liquids are pretty easy to distinguish by color, feel or smell.

: From the location and size of the leak you describe, I suspect that it is nothing major.

: Did you recently wash the car? Or perhaps it rained recently? If so, you might be seeing water from the weep holes in the doors.

: Hope this helps.
