I would just start with the basics that every other car in the segment has-- floormats, armrest, folding rear-seat should all be standard. They finally got good-looking base alloy wheels- so there's hope for the rest to follow eventually! It's funny the things that BMW cuts corners on. The aforementioned items-- esp the armrest and the floormats have got to add a very small marginal production cost to the car which I'm sure (say $30) they could easily pass on to the consumer. I know, you eventually have to stop somewhere, or else the car won't meet its price/weight objectives but those items seem like glaring omissions. I'd actually prefer that they omit automatic climate control-- rotary dials still remain the best interface for adjusting temp/fan speed-- but that's me.
