Huh? Perhaps I'm missing something here, but could you explain further? What does the angle of the sun (which is ABOVE) have to do with the angle of the rear-view mirrors (which are to see BEHIND)?

I can see a problem when the sun is near the horizon behind you, but in this case it is difficult to see behind you regardless and adjusting the mirrors won't do any good.

If you have the mirrors adjusted properly for your standard seating position if you change the adjustment they will no longer be properly adjusted for you. Period.
