: First off, thanks everyone for their replies to my earlier post........but I want to ask one more question:

: For anyone out there that has had their car on a lift, what car component (oil pan, tranny, etc.) is located on the approximate centerline of the car and is even with the 'jack' blocks that are on the frame of the car (about a foot or so behind the front tire wells)?

: This is where the leak is is NOT water.

: Thanks!

originating from somewhere else and then traveling down the tranny case. Compare the fluid on the ground with the look and feel of the fluids in the car that usually leak (coolant, brake fluid, trans oil, steering pump fluid).

Do you own an auto of manual?
