I have a tan interior (black dash with tan strip near windshield). The glare is there under some lighting conditions. But similar glare is there in most cars, for various reasons. Unless the dash is completely finished in flat black, there are going to be some reflections onto the glass. (Veiling glare, I think it is called). It's not that big of a deal, and certainly not a reason to not buy a car. However, I WOULD prefer that the strip was black in color. Maybe someday some enterprising company will make a dash "Coverlay" type of molded plastic piece that fits over that area of the dash and looks stock. An immediate alternative would be to rip the dash apart to replace the piece with a stock black one (from black interior), but personally I don't think it's worth it.

There are also reflections in the back glass, particularly from the speaker grill chrome strips. No big deal. If you start paying attention to this in other cars, you will see lots of similar reflections.
