I have a sport package on my e46, and the ride is somewhat firm. but not as firm as I expected it to be. I haven't driven e46 w/o sport pkg so I can't compare between the two, but I'd probably assume that it drives like a cadillac. The impression I got from the e46 sport pkg was that it's not as tight as that of e36 sport suspension. It somewhat resembles that of e36 without sport suspension. Just my thoughts.

: Like others I've been reading this board for months. Can't seem to get the trend on the sports package. I'll be buying soon (sedan) and currently am inclined to go w/sports package. But, the occasional thread about the harsh ride scares my 46 year old body a bit. Thought with a few responses I can get the "picture" on the sport option and make sure it will not be a mistake for my mid life crisis vehicle.
