Read my post again. My topic wasn't the 330, it was the 323. What I was getting at was that I don't think any no improvements for the 323 will be made give how BMW was introducing the sport wagon (not touring - old name used with E36). In other words, no more horsepower/torque improvements for the 323. You really should work on your reading comprehension. It leaves a lot to be desired.

: Just about everything you've mentioned has already been discussed here. Search the archives for "touring", "3.0l" or "330" and you'll find plenty of info.

: It is "known" that the 328 will be replaced by the 330 and that the 323 will be renamed the 325. Then engine will remain the same but the tag will be updated to reflect the true engine configuration (the physical engine will not be changed)

: The expectation of the 3.0l next spring has not diminished sales, at least not to the point that it has hurt BMW sales.
