Yes!!!! I wondered if that was the reason why BMW had changed the tail lamp design on the E46's... Somewhat annoying, but then again, imitiation is the highest form of praise..? NOT! I'm selfish. I want bimmers to have a copyright, if such things exist for exterior designs, to their shape so no one can copy it!

Actually, the Civic tail-end is suspiciously starting to look like the older integras. (makes sense, since integras are considered sports version of civics in Japan, or so I heard). If that is the case, why get integra when you can get a civic? they don't look all that different in size or anything.. i guess the prestige would get people to buy the acura instead of the honda.

Civic coupe is a nice little car.. especially the one with the VTEC should be pretty good. If it's the same engine as the current integras, its low-rpm torque is a little "under torqued", IMHO. I tried the manual transmission version of the civic sedan, and it was quite doggy, as with the rear-end looks.

: Has anyone noticed a striking similarity in the general body style and shape between these cars? The BMW looks generally more aggressive of course, and generally larger in size.
