It had been perfect for the last 2 months with 4,500 miles. The car's going to the dealer for this problem, but I thought I post it here to see if anyone has a similar problem and how was it fixed.

I was peeling off from I-5 for gas. At a stop sign, I let it rip, the backwheel started spinning. The DSC didn't kick in, then the DSC light and engine light came on and I lost power completely. It was almost like the engine will kick in, then back off, kick in again, then back off. No matter how I play the throttle the engine will not rev on demand, then if I coast, it will catch again. I turn the ignition off, restarted the car, the DSC light went off, but the engine light stayed on. I can then drive for 20 miles or so, then it acted up again. DSC lights on and I lost power completely. This happened about 10 times and each time, I had to pull over and restart the engine. Also the engine cutoff won't happen when I was using the cruise control, but if I use the throttle, it happens without fail once every 20 miles or so.
I just hope dealers can find the problem. Electronic gremlins/bugs can turn into a super bug in no time.
