: I had my dealer fax me a copy a few weeks after placing the order to make sure everything was fine. This will show option and color that has been ordered on the car, the status, the production week, and if bmw has accepted the order. As the time progresses you can ask for updates and fine out what status your car is in.
After about a 2 month wait my sister and I were going to pick up her Sport/Premium 323i. Once we got there everything looked perfect until we opened the door. The interior was not what we ordered. It was black instead of grey. We asked "What happened?" The salesman showed us the file and it stated grey interior which was crossed out. He said that someone called him and changed the order. Thats impossible because my sister hates black interior cars. The manager then came out and said that we could always order a new one but it would be the same wait period. After talking to my sister she decided to cancel the purchase and we came home empty handed. This hurt me more than it hurt her because I have been waiting for this car. I have about a month wait for my 328ci to come. Will they screw this order up too?????
: Another thing that I found weird was when we ordered the car the salesman said that the steptronic was not available so my sister ordered the reg auto. The car's sticker said Automatic Trans $1200 but once I looked inside it was a Step. Hmmmm Step for a reg auto price?
: Sorry for the long story but this "good day" turned in the opposite direction and I needed to let it out.
